Turnaround
Turnaround is the central program at CKS. It is a structured program for students and mentors. This program occurs inside the detention center and supports student growth through small groups. There are a variety of classes and programs that focus on life skills, character development, and emotional intelligence. The goal is to give them tools that will help them be more prepared as they enter back into society to be able to make changes that would better their lives . When the students leaves the facility our main objective to get them a 1:1 mentor to continue the progress that we started inside Juvi. Without a mentor, young people often return in as little as three months.
